As an illustrator, I am invested in creating images that celebrate the beauty of the everyday. I use my bold digital style to create work that beams a playful and positive attitude. This approach to my practice is influenced by the research in my dissertation where I looked at how illustration can be used as a tool to reflect contemporary life back to us and the symbiotic relationship between illustration and visual culture.

‘Pleasantly Surprised’ is a project that aims to dismantle some of the negative connotations attached to veganism and find ways to engage more people with the benefits of the lifestyle in a flexible way. Through careful treatment of print techniques combined with colourful, lively illustrations, I am developing a subversive, user-experience led approach to campaign veganism that persuades the viewer through an immersive tactile experience.
